PERSONAL TOUCH® forms are special for 2 reasons: they are 40% lighter than standard-weight silicone gel forms, and they are built in 3 layers.
The outside layer is lightweight "whipped" silicone gel. It is super-soft and drapes like mature breast tissue. Across the contoured back is a thin layer of clear silicone that helps the breast form maintain its shape. Tucked behind the two silicone layers, there is a removable foam insert. This foam insert has a self-gripping front surface that helps hold it in place behind the form, and it has a soft, breathable-cotton surface that fits against the skin. The foam insert keeps the skin cool, dry, and comfortable without adding weight. Both pieces of the breast form are washable.
The form can also be worn without the foam insert if more natural tissue has been left. Because this form has so many fitting options, it is important to be fit by a CMF.
The Tapered Triangle shape is symmetrical, so each form can fit either the right or the left side of the body. "Tapered" means that the wings get thinner toward the edges, and the profile is shallower than a "full" form.
